Emphasis

#DataVisualisation

Data analytics goes beyond working with numbers and data …all the way to presenting your findings in a way that spurs people on to take action. More often than not, the decision makers (and those who should lead the action) are not very tech/data savvy, and it is up to us to build bridges between the information we find in the data and where they are so our work can actually yield results

Emphasis refers to the design principle of arranging visual elements to focus the audience’s attention on important information in a data visualization

As you build out your presentation, you should take a pause to ask yourself: what do I want my audience to see/focus on? How can I draw their attention to it?
