Homemaking: Unpaid Labour

The thing about “unpaid labour” like taking care of a sick family member, managing the home or full time child care is that the person doing it is also typically unable to simultaneously hold down another full time job – or are doing the equivalent of 2 jobs (care work and their regular job)
I don’t think this consideration factors into the conversation often enough when their contributions are weighed

Does the date still remind you of the bullets that rent the silence in perfect darkness to cut down those who braved the times and odds to demand for a better country, and paid with their lives at the hands of those sworn to protect them

Regard vs Respect

A letter to narcissists: humans want to be regarded as people, inherently valuable, regardless of what they can/cannot do, what they have/don’t have, and if they last/don’t last
And no matter how much you pretend, the heart knows the truth, and people sense that first
