No, not the in-your-face-I’m-better-than-you kinda snobbery that we love to wear as masks to hide our true inner shortcomings.
Holiness is not in the length of your skirt or the (non)flashiness of your jewellery. It’s not in the cleanliness of your face or the angelic purity of your expression during church service. It’s not in the absence of a rap-sheet or a human perception of perfection.

No! It’s an all-consuming hunger for the things of the Spirit, that births a cleansing fire deep within you, burning away the vestiges of flesh. It’s a passion to be exactly where the Lord wants you, doing exactly as He bid, in the manner He would have you do it. It’s the total surrender that comes with daring to submit wholly and entirely to the pleasure of His Will, such that when the world looks at you, they see Jesus.
That’s the only way to live a truly satisfying, and rewarding life, one in which Our Heavenly Father is well pleased.
It refines your thoughts, your actions, your speech, your deeds. It recreates the personality of Christ in you …such that you become a mirror, an embodiment of the Lord on earth.
That …is the new cool. And for me, that’s the ONLY “cool”. What about you?
