Gen 18:10
Throughout Scripture, we see examples of God giving a promise, and then fulfilling it some time later. Today’s case in point is Abraham, to whom God gave His Word, and then returned to fulfill it …at the time of life. A few points stand out for us here:
- He returns
If it were an instant answer, you’d receive the answer, not a Word. The Word is an anchor to hold on to, even in the midst of reality and circumstances that seemingly contradict the answer that you are hoping for - At the time of life
Logical reasoning, the weight of your expectations, societal pressure, what you confess or imagine would shape what YOU think should be enough timing for manifestation; but the truth is:"it's all in God's timing"
Not yours. Not what people say. Not what is reasonable. It’s a Kairos moment (we’d delve into this in subsequent teachings). Until the time comes, we wait. We wait right. We wait with hope. We wait with courage. We wait with faith.
Why?
Because He does not forget; and His Word is His bond
Until Shiloh comes, the Word of the Lord will not fail
