WE'RE GLAD TO HELP
Putting opportunities in your hands
Jane – and the PKH Network as a whole – is deeply committed to making sure people get the boost they need to win. Having a first-hand experience of what it means to pull yourself up by the bootstraps, growing skills and chasing opportunities in order to give herself a better life than she was born into, Jane’s personal policy is to hold doors open for others, even after going through.
Here are some of the ways Jane and the PKH Network can support your growth and journey:
- Webinars
- Business support
- Scholarships
- Mentorship
Nearly every webinar we organise has a few slots reserved for people who would like to learn, but cannot afford the access fee at the time. Simply indicate in the registration (or reply to the confirmation/payment email) that you’d like to be considered for a free access.
Free webinar access is jointly sponsored by Jane, the PKH Network, and our corporate partners.
The following webinars are currently free and you can join the waitlist to be notified of the next available date:
PKH supports new business owners by providing discounted services to people who meet any of the following criteria:
- running a female-led/owned business
- running a female or child-focused business or organisation
- less than 2 years in business/operations
To access this support, request any of our services via the PKH Services page, and indicate that you’d be willing to be considered under the criteria above. Alternatively, write to us via hello@pkhadassah.com to get started.
PKH provides scholarships to our programs under 3 schemes:
Partner Funds: our corporate partners fund partial and complete scholarships for indigent learners by contributing to a dedicated fund. Each program cycle, an independent team of assessors review applications for scholarships to PKH programs under this scheme, and award scholarships based on need and available funding.
Group funding: a scheme that allows a group of learners (independently, or via an affiliate or their place of employment) to apply for a discount by applying together to be taught as a single cohort. This approach unlocks premium benefits (reserved for one-on-one learners) for the entire group, as well as negotiated discounts.
Founder’s scholarship: a discretionary discount from the founder for learners who demonstrate great potential (via their program applications) but are limited via funds.
Accessing a scholarship on a PKH program is straightforward. Apply for the program and indicate in your application that you need funding support. Our assessing team will work with you to figure out the best option, and give you the details you need to proceed. For the Group Funding , indicate your affiliated group in your application, and provide the contact person to handle the group’s payment and financials.
To join us as a sponsor or partner, please fill this form or write to partnerships@pkhadassah.com for further details.
Since 2021, PKH has run an immersive mentorship program, working with 6 – 8 U23 people each year to develop work-ready skills, explore roles and fields, and develop competence they can use to take on the work force with confidence and precision.
The PKH Pearl Program includes matching the participants’ natural talents, default strengths and experience with ideal career tracks, assigning them responsibilities and mentors.
To apply as a prospective intern, go here
Our mentors include:
- in-house PKH employees
- PKH expert mentor network (who are themselves established in their respective fields)
- employees of PKH Partner companies who have opted in to support the PKH Pearl Program
